If you are using BuildingConnected as your Invitation To Bid Solution, you simply select it when creating a new project in BidMatrix. It will immediately create a live link between BidMatrix and BuildingConnected.
You can easily find your BuildingConnected project using several different intuitive search options.
Once a BuildingConnected project is selected, BidMatrix takes the pertinent information and automatically populates the data in the BidMatrix project information page.
The first time you enter a bid package in BidMatrix, the live link with BuildingConnected intelligently pulls a list of available codes and even suggests a recommended match.
Once a bid package is mapped to BuildingConnected you no longer have to guess as to which subcontractors need to be added to your matrix. BidMatrix serves up the list of subcontractors who received bid invites for that bid package. Subcontractors are even sorted by the BuildingConnected bidding status so you can easily select the appropriate ones.
The rich subcontractor information in BuildingConnected can be easily accessed in BidMatrix. When entering subcontractor bids, any or all of those attributes can be displayed for help in your subcontractor selection process.
