BidMatrix and BuildingConnected® Integration

Portland, OR. – December 8, 2020 – Bridgetown Software, Inc. today announced the release of a powerful new integration between its BidMatrix application and BuildingConnected®, a bid management solution for contractors that is part of Autodesk Construction Cloud™.

Due to the size and cost of commercial construction, project risks can result in costly challenges that compromise project budgets, schedules and quality. General contractors and their preconstruction teams must build capable teams and minimize potential risks from the onset. In order to build the best project teams, preconstruction teams require organized and easy-to-use bid management solutions to help sort through complex bids and estimate analyses. 

BuildingConnected® helps minimizes risk on commercial projects by enabling general contractors’ preconstruction teams to identify, qualify and select trade partners with minimal risk profiles. Bridgetown Software’s BidMatrix application helps preconstruction teams further minimize risk during the qualification and selection portions of bidding workflows by providing real-time analytics on a collection of project bids.

The new BidMatrix-BuildingConnected® integration allows preconstruction teams to have the bids they manage in BuildingConnected® automatically populate in BidMatrix for additional side-by-side bid analysis. While preconstruction teams are reviewing bids in BidMatrix, they can also see key information from subcontractors’ respective profiles in BuildingConnected®, such as primary contact, qualification limit per project, and enterprise type. By making bid-comparison and subcontractor profile data visible across solutions, the integration helps general contractors develop the strongest possible construction teams for project owners.
